On March 18, 2026, our team partnered again with the American Cancer Society at the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Cheltenham, which provides a welcoming home away from home for out-of-town patients receiving cancer treatment in Philadelphia-area hospitals. We hosted a Souper Supper including 6 types of soup, varied tea sandwiches, salad bar, fruit salads, and desserts. For patients and their families, the evening offered a comforting respite from the stress and physical toll of treatment. For our members—each of us breast cancer survivors—it was a meaningful opportunity to extend empathy, encouragement, and firsthand understanding to others navigating a cancer diagnosis.

The Regatta offers great fun and team-building for novice or intermediate community teams, as well as an opportunity for competitive sport teams to compete in an ERDBA event. Test your team's abilities in 200-meter races (Community & Sport Teams) and 500-meter races (Sport Teams). Race day is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

We hosted a festive “Chili Fiesta,” serving a variety of homemade chili dishes, fresh salads, cornbread, desserts, and decorating the tables with mini piñata centerpieces. For patients and their families, the evening offered a comforting respite from the stress and physical toll of treatment. For our members—each of us breast cancer survivors—it was a meaningful opportunity to extend empathy, encouragement, and firsthand understanding to others navigating a cancer diagnosis.

This fall classic is a magnet for East Coast teams looking to take part in high-quality racing while enjoying nature’s beautiful backdrop. Crews from the New York and Philadelphia region return annually to create a vibrant athletes' village, setting up team tents and elaborate picnics in the shady woods neighboring festival grounds.
